As the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and establishing strong relationships within the community. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and market share. • Identify and target new business opportunities, including corporate clients, event planners, group travel, and youth sports teams coming to the area. • Maintain and build strong relationships with existing clients and community partners. • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and site tours to prospective clients. • Collaborate with the management team to create promotional materials and marketing campaigns. • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities. • Prepare and manage sales reports, budgets, and forecasts. • Represent the hotel at industry events and networking functions. • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly. • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions. • Work closely with the front desk and operations team to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications: • 3 or more years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality • Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired • This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. • Knowledge of the Greenville, SC market is required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales software. Compensation: $47,000 - $55,000
