ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The hotel Sales Manager will generate business and maximize revenue for the established Nexgen Management hotel by using proactive sales activities in accordance with Marriott hotel brand standards and management company.
Direct report to Director of Sales:
Prospect for new business through outside sales calls, solicitation, networking, and cold calling.
Improve hotel visibility by conducting outside sales calls/blitzes, attending trade shows and market segment related events.
Perform marketing promotions and campaigns involving direct mail, social media, ads, etc.
Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly and annual targeted sales goals and profit margins.
Maintain an active list of accounts to ensure continuous relationship development.
Develop and execute monthly focused and action plans.
Communicate with hotel staff on upcoming group needs
Maintain and secure repeat business through client satisfaction and loyalty.
Maintain knowledge of industry and trends in market, particularly amongst competitor set.
Maintains regular attendance and is consistently on time.
Maintains standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
Performs any other duties as requested by Director of Sales
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years of responsible management experience within Hospitality industry or Sales related position

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years Sales Manager or equivalent position in similar type property
Experience in local market preferred
Strong reputation in the business community of the local market
Proven record of successful proactive sales efforts
Brand Sales Manager certificatio npreferred
Must possess and maintain a Morot Vehicle Operatot's Licence in good standing

Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred, depending on market
