    Security Guard/Overnight shift: $20 + benefits As a Security Guard, your role is crucial in maintaining the safety of both guests and team members, as well as securing the hotel and its property, all of which contribute to providing excellent guest service and achieving financial success. Benefits: • 401(k) • Benefits/ Insurance • Flexible hours • Vacation time Responsibilities: What will I be doing? • Conduct patrols within the hotel's interior, perimeter, and property to detect and pinpoint potential security and safety hazards, as well as undesirable situations • Patrolling hallways, parking lots, stairwells, and lobbies • React to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, safety hazards, or threats to property and/or life • Advocate for safe work procedures and practices • Launch initial investigations into incidents when required • Generate nightly logs of unusual occurrences, as well as routine actions • Ensure the accuracy of relevant documentation, as needed • Address guest requests and inquiries promptly, with a friendly and efficient approach, and resolve guest issues • Communicate with front desk agents • Contacting local police authorities • Follow safety and security policies and procedures at all times • Escorting any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the flow of property operations • Responds to guests quickly and courteously if reported by night shift staff Qualifications: • Previous Security experience • Good communication skills • Valid drivers license • A working vehicle • Security training • Interpersonal skills • Flexible schedule • CPR certified a plus • Ability to provide written and verbal Communication • Knowledge of security operations and procedure • Outstanding surveillance and observation skills • Self-starter, able to work alone and doesn't mind helping with luggage or taking out the garbage Compensation: $20 hourly
