    Job Responsibilities

    Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and grooming.

    Support mobility, transfers and ambulation as needed.

    Provide medication reminders.

    Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.

    Offer companionship and social interaction through engaging conversations and activities.

    Accompany and/or drive clients to appointments and social activities.

    Monitor clients’ health, document observations, and report any changes to the care team.

    Requirements

    Previous caregiving experience of at least one year (dementia and/or Parkinson’s preferred)

    Ability to lift and assist with mobility needs

    Patience, compassion, and reliability

    Strong ability to communicate, read and comprehend English

    Certified Dementia Practitioner (preferred)

    Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred)

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    Ability to pass a background check

    Provide results of TB test results (can be completed after interview)
