Job overview
We are seeking a dynamic Overnight House Person to join our team! The primary job functions are making deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding; cleaning and maintaining public areas, guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and work areas; completing any special projects as directed by housekeeping managers. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces
Deliver requested amenities such as rollaway beds, cribs, blankets, etc. to guest rooms
Check all allocated floors at the start of each shift and during the day to collect garbage, in-room dining trays, and other items as directed by management
Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors' requests
Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to the housekeeping storage facilities
Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed
Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Hotels Dress Code Policy.
Core Competencies
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
One (1) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
