We are a small business with a big role, managing over 100 vacation rental homes in the premiere South Shore Lake Michigan destination. Our homes are situated on and near the beach in idyllic resort style communities. We offer resort style amenities and services and pride ourselves on our reputation and our incredible staff. We work hard and play hard - enjoying the sun, sand, and vacation vibes all summer long.

Housekeeper

General Description

Schedules are semi-flexible, weekends required. Will be Responsible for cleaning interior of the vacation rental homes. Providing tidy, sanitary amenities for guests. The duties include cleaning floors, making beds, laundry, dishes, dusting surfaces throughout the homes, restocking supplies. Reports on any damage inside of the homes. This position requires attention to detail, physical strength and a good personality. Perform deep cleans when required. Travel between jobs. Located in and around Michigan City, IN. As we grow there is a possibility to move up in the company with the right attitude and commitment.

General Duties

Clean Vacation Rental Properties and maintain home or facility appearance.

Clean kitchen, living room, dining room, bathrooms, dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc.

Keeps public access areas clean and maintains them according to employer standards.

Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies.

Keeps housekeeping storage room in a neat and organized fashion.

Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to supervisor.

Job Requirements

Experience: Some previous work-related experience

Previous Housekeeping or Residential Experience a plus

Reliable Transportation

Able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30lbs

Operate as part of a larger Team, we all work together

Follows all standard operating procedures for cleanliness, sanitation, safety and security

Organize work schedule from the property status list, arrivals and departures

Updates status of property cleaned on the assigned system

Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner

Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition

Smart Phone savvy

Reliable transportation to and from offices & housekeeping assignments
