• Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms upon discharge, including beds, furniture, bedside tables, bathroom fixtures, and medical equipment

• **Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and removing trash in hallways, waiting areas, and staff offices
  **

• **Disinfecting toilets, sinks, showers ,and replenishing supplies in patient and public restrooms
  **

• **Responding to spills and cleaning up hazardous materials
  **

• Collecting soiled linens and replacing with clean linens in patient rooms
