    The Embassy Suites by Hilton Lubbock is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector. Housekeeping inspectors supervise housekeeping operations in the hotel. They perform a variety of duties from cleaning, inspecting, and training. Responsibilities: • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, carpets, drapes, and furniture for cleanliness, damage, stains, or wear • Check and count linens and supplies, and record inspection results • Make sure cleanliness conditions are met, and that cleaning personnel meet quality standards • Report lost and found items, maintenance problems, or special room problems to a supervisor • Adjust guests' complaints, communicate with other hotel departments, and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies • Supervise team members, such as guest room attendants, housemen, and lobby attendants • Prepare work orders and requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements • Help with budget control by supervising employees' use of supplies, equipment, and linen, and perform cleaning duties as needed Qualifications: Housekeeping inspectors should have expertise, leadership, good observational skills, decision-making, and time management.
