The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms at both The Cove Hotel in Salem and The Beverly in Beverly. This role supports the Housekeeping Supervisor and serves as the department’s second-in-command when the supervisor is off. In addition to inspecting rooms, the Inspector will assist with housekeeping tasks as needed. This position requires flexibility to work at both properties based on guest demand, with weekend availability required. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities: • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and brand standards • Assist with cleaning guest rooms and housekeeping tasks on days that are needed • Support the Housekeeping Supervisor with daily operations and team coordination • Act as the point of contact and lead the department in the supervisor’s absence • Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff to ensure consistency and efficiency • Report maintenance issues, inventory needs, and any guest concerns promptly • Help train and guide new housekeeping team members • Maintain accurate records of inspections and daily assignments • Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are well-stocked and organized • Uphold safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards throughout both properties Qualifications: Previous hotel housekeeping experience required • Previous hotel Inspector experience preferred • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed • Reliable and flexible with the ability to work weekends and travel between properties • Effective communication and leadership skills • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods • Professional and team-oriented with a positive attitude Compensation: $17..50 - $18.00 hourly
