Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests/residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to contribute positively to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing areas such as guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other linens according to established schedules and standards.
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks on a regular basis, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and furniture polishing.
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest requests and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
