Responsibilities: • Clean pet suites after dogs leave being extremely detailed on metal, corners, and edges to ensure they are cleaned and disinfected well • Clean wooden floors throughout the entire building • Clean and disinfect all cages • Wash and put away bowls • Wash and put away all pet blankets and towels • Organize and tidy pet supply areas • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors • Scoop waste from artificial turf, spray off stains, and disinfect • Clean doors, door frames, vents, windows, cabinets, shelves, counters walls, outlets • Inspect rooms and public areas to accept health and safety standards • Clean bathrooms disinfecting all bathroom toilets, floors, and surfaces • Dust or wipe down all flat surfaces, vacuum, sweep, and/or mop floors • Replenish room supplies, toilet paper, soap, trash liners, etc. • Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas • Observe precautions required to protect animal guests, immediately reporting any damage to a room, or safety hazard for animals to a manager • Notify the Manager of any maintenance issues. • Notify the Manager of left behind belongings and bag and tag the items according to policy • Keep storage areas and feeding carts stocked, cleaned, and organized • Wear appropriate attire per the dress code • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Essential Skills • Integrity – display strong moral principles and work ethic by behaving ethically, acting fairly, and taking responsibility • Communication – listen effectively and follow instructions • Dependability and reliability – display responsible behaviors at work in attendance and punctuality; has attention to details; can follow directions and fulfill obligations • Professionalism– maintain a professional presence by demonstrating self-control, maintaining a professional demeanor and a positive attitude • Sense of urgency- demonstrate an ability to work with speed and manage your time and tasks well Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required • Must pass a background check • Random drug tests are performed Compensation: $13 - $15 hourly
