The Housekeeping Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the hotel. This leader manages the housekeeping and laundry departments efficiently and controls costs by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional cleanliness in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional stay experience. • Conduct inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to quality and cleanliness standards. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. • Monitor and manage labor productivity and department costs, adhering to budgeted guidelines. Qualifications: • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all levels. • Strong organizational and leadership skills with an eye for detail. Compensation: $14 - $14.50 hourly
