  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    A Housewares Sales Associate stocks and displays products in the housewares department and provides outstanding guest service.

    • Stocks and merchandises products according to department procedures and quality standards
    • Maintains and organizes back-stock and warehouse storage areas according to department standards
    • Stays up to date on product knowledge, and engages guests to explain our offering and drive sales
    • Adheres to all guidelines about product recommendations and information
    • Communicates department’s needs, adjustments, and any problems promptly and efficiently to a manager
    • Maintains a safe and clean work environment in compliance with department, federal, and state regulations
    • Does light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, and packaging disposal as necessary
    • Performs other duties as required or assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1+ year of sales experience
    • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
    • Excellent communication and guest service skills
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    Job Requirements

    • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting

    The pay range for this job is $17-19 an hour
