Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions, with an emphasis in recruiting and new hire onboarding. This position requires strong administrative skills and familiarity with HR systems such as ATS and HRIS.
Duties
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, attend job fairs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Support performance management initiatives by tracking employee evaluations and providing necessary resources to managers.
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with management on affirmative action planning and compliance efforts.
- Provide administrative support for various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Stay updated on employment labor laws to ensure organizational compliance.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position works in a standard office environment, as well as in the field for charitable and engagement events and activities. Standing, sitting, and walking required daily. Must be able to lift 15 pounds. Minimum local travel will not exceed 5-10%.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role within Human Resources or a related field.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Prism HR.
- Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.
- Knowledge of performance management processes and workforce management strategies.
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate qualifications effectively.
- Understanding of affirmative action planning and employment labor laws is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual
- 1 - 2 years recruiting in a medical field preferred
- Minimum two-year Associate of Arts degree, preferably in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications or Business.
- Minimum two years of Human Resources, preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer service skills.
