The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes to include management of the onboarding process for new hires. This role also provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

****Functional Accountability:
- Manages the onboarding process of new hires to include; communicating with new hires regarding pre and post-employment processes, entering new hires into HRIS system, obtaining and scanning appropriate documents, assisting new hire with HRIS system, sending authorizations to background and drug screen vendors, sending notifications to various departments, communicating with managers and answering questions as needed.
- Assists the HR department with various research projects and/or special projects as needed.
- Acts as a resource to the company by answering employee requests and questions.
- Covers HR department to include answering phones while staff members are out of the office.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities efficiently.
- Always works as a team member within the entire facility.

- Reports to: Senior Human Resources Manager
- Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in human resource position.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Strength (Lift, Carry, Push, Pull): Medium (Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects)

Hazards will be minimized if universal safety procedures are followed. Must follow standard precautions. Heavy work volume and high degree of accuracy required. May be required to work extended hours to meet critical deadlines. Travel may be required. Exposed to weather conditions during travel.
