SUMMARY: As an HR Generalist, you will be at the heart of our operations, providing essential support to our team members. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and manage recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring all new hires complete required documentation, training, and orientation.
· Serve as a resource for management and an advocate for employees in building and maintaining a highly productive, respectful, and professional work environment.
· Perform tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave administration; disciplinary actions, investigations, and dispute resolution; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale initiatives; occupational health and safety compliance; and training and development programs.
· Conduct investigations related to employee complaints, policy violations, or misconduct, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards and foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, conflict resolution, and team building initiatives.
· Assist with workers’ compensation claim management including claim reporting, accident investigation, return to work programs and accident prevention initiatives.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
· 3-5 years of human resources experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
· SHRM-CP a plus.
· Prior experience in manufacturing a plus.
Compensation: Salary is $70k - $90k annually depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
