HR Generalist (Hybrid)
Location: Dayton, OH (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to join their team. This role is perfect for an HR professional who enjoys a well-rounded position, providing support in onboarding, employee engagement, wellness programs, and core HR functions. You will serve as a key resource to employees and leadership, ensuring a positive workplace culture while maintaining HR best practices. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with essential in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Lead the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a welcoming and seamless integration.
- Develop and enhance onboarding materials to create a positive first impression.
- Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and check-ins to foster engagement.
Employee Engagement & Wellness
- Design and implement employee engagement programs that enhance workplace morale and productivity.
- Develop and promote wellness initiatives focused on mental health, work-life balance, and overall well-being.
- Coordinate recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and milestones.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback through surveys and engagement tools to drive continuous improvement.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with HRIS management, ensuring data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
- Support company policies and procedures, keeping documentation up to date.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure HR practices align with regulations.
Benefits & Compensation
- Assist in administering benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness perks.
- Serve as a resource for employees, answering questions and supporting open enrollment.
- Collaborate with finance/payroll teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of HR generalist experience in a corporate or business environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
- Experience with onboarding, employee engagement, and wellness programs preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Salary : $75,000-$90,000
