At U.S. Fire Protection, we pride ourselves in the indispensable service we have provided with integrity to many over our 20 years of experience in the field of fire sprinkler and suppression installation and fire extinguisher servicing for both residential and commercial properties. We are a small, family business growing at a steady rate and are looking for others to join our team!
We are looking for somebody with experience in the Human Resource and Payroll field.
Your duties include the following:
· Fast learner – we will train you on our current software.
· Take care of the mail and answer emails
· Scheduling
o Pulling from our existing clientele;
o Filling in as needed by outreaching to new clientele in the field technicians area
· Add new clients and keep client information up to date in the system
· Work in conjunction with field technicians to ensure servicing dates and notes are current
· Process weekly payroll
o Calculate commissions
o Provide weekly payroll data report to the president
o Provide reports as requested
· Respond to and direct Yelp service requests in a timely manner
· Contact clients with upcoming due or unpaid invoices
· Employee related
o Ensure new hire paperwork and labor law posters are current
o Ensure new hires complete necessary paperwork
o LOA from A-Z with oversight from the President
· Assist with running necessary reports for WC and handling such situations from A-Z with oversight from the President
· Office work
o Scan, file, organize , answering calls, office supply and break room inventory
· Assist our field technicians with putting away and organizing documents and blueprints
· Weekly meeting with management
· Assist President and his business partner as needed. They may add to this list as things pop up.
· Social media presence – post and respond.
· Assist management with ordering and mailing out marketing material.
· Place product orders for field technicians as needed.
This is not a fast paced position. The ideal person is one who thrives in a slower-paced environment. We care more about competency, accuracy and longevity.
Requirements:
· Experience in Human Resources and Payroll is a must.
· Knowledgeable in current state, local and federal laws pertaining to LOA , WC and time and labor laws.
· You will be dealing with confidential information so trustworthiness is a must.
· In office position – this is not a remote position.
· Professional verbal and digital communication as the face of the company.
· Background check.

· Part time from 9am to 3pm, M-F. There is some flexibility with the start/end time.

Compensation:
$23.00/hour to start with an increase after 60 day probationary period. Increase will depend on your work ethic and capabilities! We are happy to negotiate with the right person. Pay is weekly.
