Job Summary:
As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a critical role in managing our most valuable asset – our people. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role involves overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing: Lead the recruitment process for caregivers and support staff, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, addressing any employment issues in a timely and legal manner.
Leadership and Development: Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure high-quality care and compliance with industry standards.
Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal system, provide constructive feedback, and manage employee performance issues.
Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices for FSSA and BDDS.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, local employment laws and regulations, and HIPPA laws.
Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Diversity and Inclusion: Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Un-employment Claim Management: Oversee all unemployment claims with the state.
Employee Recognition Programs: Deploy internal recognition program to maintain a culture of high moral.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Manager
Must have experience in the home care industry.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
In-depth understanding of labor law and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
Master’s Degree in Human Resources
Health Facility Administrator
Senior Professional in Human Resource
Experience in conflict resolution and employee counseling.
Familiarity with home care industry standards and regulations.
Case Management
Executive Director experience in the home care industry
