    Pay Rate: $21.00/hr-$22.00/hr

    Location: Indianapolis, IN 46226

    Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (some OT may be required)

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This role is a blend of administrative support, front desk responsibilities, and key HR functions, including timekeeping and payroll. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. This position also involves supporting basic accounting tasks and assisting in day-to-day office operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist visitors and employees at the front desk, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

    • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

    • Maintain accurate employee timekeeping records and support the processing of payroll.

    • Assist with HR functions, including onboarding, maintaining personnel files, and responding to employee inquiries.

    • Support the accounting department with basic tasks such as invoice tracking, expense reporting, and data entry.

    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and confidentiality requirements.

    • Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain records accordingly.

    • Help schedule meetings, interviews, and other HR-related activities.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
    • Knowledge of payroll systems and timekeeping software is an advantage.

    • Basic understanding of accounting principles is helpful.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
