Our client is a midsize Gov Con looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support their organization. This role will work closely with the HR Director and the existing HR team, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
Candidates with Gov Con industry experience and UKG are highly preferred.
This is a permanent direct hire opportunity based on a hybrid schedule in Northern VA.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department heads and the HR Director to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, particularly for government consulting services.
- Assist in managing compensation structures, benefits administration, and compliance with industry standards to ensure competitive offerings that attract and retain.
- Analyze workforce needs in collaboration with leadership and the HR team to create effective recruitment strategies, succession planning, and talent management solutions.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and employee development, ensuring a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Work with the HR team to ensure UKG is optimized for reporting, data management, and employee self-service functions, supporting the continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Track and analyze HR metrics to provide insights for leadership while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and government contractor requirements (EEO, VEVRAA, AAP).
- Develop and implement company-wide HR strategies that drive organizational growth, strengthen corporate culture, and increase employee engagement.
