    The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will spearhead the alignment of our comprehensive HR offerings, talent strategy, and business strategy. The selected candidate will bring expertise and advisory skills to build organizational capabilities to achieve current and future business objectives by developing proactive human resources strategies and practices. This role drives and influences key business organizational health and engagement initiatives and provides advice, counsel, and solutions to increase employee satisfaction and retention. A strong HRBP effectively manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, investigations, performance management, talent/succession planning, and leadership development. The HRBP will implement strategic and tactical initiatives that drive and support desired business goals and objectives. The selected candidate will also lead the routine functions of the Human Resources department, which include administering pay, benefits, and leaves of absence, enforcing company policies and practices, and navigating employee relations, off-boarding, and vendor management strategies. Responsibilities to include:

     

    HR Business Partner

    • Provide HR partnership for strategic and tactical initiatives, day-to-day HR support, and strategy execution for assigned business groups
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with leaders and employees to provide guidance and counsel on a variety of HR and business
    • Provide guidance and develop partnerships with key business leaders to support achieving business objectives within the assigned populations
    • Manage and resolve employee relations issues
    • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
    • Partner with the legal department as needed or required
    • Provide consultation, coaching, and training to managers on performance, talent development, and employee relations
    • Provide day-to-day talent and performance management guidance (coaching, mentoring, counseling, development, disciplinary actions)
    • Implement HR best practices for key HR processes, including performance management, compensation planning, workforce/capability planning, and talent management
    • Negotiate with vendors when necessary
    • Lead total rewards strategy, pay planning, and compensation function

     

    HR Operations

    • Oversee FMLA leave administration process and communicate with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or modified work schedules as appropriate
    • Manage process to maintain complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests by specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices (including process journals)
    • Review and audit the internal transfer process, including ensuring proper documentation is in place, onboarding plans are created, and employee details are updated promptly
    • Maintain up-to-date policies and handbook in compliance with federal and state laws
    • Review and audit up-to-date employee records/personnel files
    • Direct correspondence for outside requests, including employment verifications, child support, unemployment, workers' compensation, etc.
    • Review and audit payroll, 401k, and benefits processes
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees
    • Design and execute onboarding and offboarding process and liaise with Talent Acquisition, L&D, and People Experience departments
    • Develop and maintain our vendor management strategy
    • Manage HR Specialist

     

    What You Will Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; SPHR or MBA is plus but not required
    • Minimum 8 years of related experience in human resources
    • Professional presentation and ability to communicate with senior leadership as well as a diverse workforce C-Suite and down
    • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to analyze reports, to organize data, and to input data with accuracy
    • Ability to read general documents, HR reports, and general published information about compliance
    • Demonstrate strength in problem-solving and organization
    • Strong foundational knowledge of HRIS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Capability of working in an open office design and upholding confidentiality
    • Capability of prioritizing work according to business needs and strategy
    • Embody the company's competencies and demonstrate the desired proficiency
