    Job Summary:

    The HR Business Partner will report to the Director of Human Resource and the Plant Manager. This is a roll your sleeves type of role as you bridge-the-gaps of what is currently in place in Fort Worth and best practices for our new facility in Spring, Texas by developing HR/EHS programs and policies and procedures. Build a new hire onboarding that emphasizes a culture of high performance and workplace safety. As the main contact for all HR related matters, you will oversee time and attendance, payroll, benefits, leaves, employee policies, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, workplace safety, workers compensation and staying compliant.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Recruitment of new employees, from posting, sourcing and interviewing.
    • Developing all plant job descriptions with onboarding training plans for all new hires.
    • Understanding the employee profile, to recruit and best network with job boards and technical schools to hire employees.
    • Work closely with Plant manager to develop levels for operators and assessment process.
    • Responsible for all new hire documentation and safety trainings
    • Provide strong analytic and problem-solving skills to manage and effectively lead HR and EHS impacts.
    • Collaborate with operations managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
    • Responsible for safety and workers comp, maintain all safety trainings and follow our process when reporting workers comp incidents, understand the difference between recordable and not recordable. Work closely with Texas Mutual when reporting and implementing preventive measures to future accidents.
    • Update and develop HR and Safety policies and set up a new safety program for our new facility.
    • Oversee incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Manage our time and attendance system, correcting time discrepancies for a smooth time data transfer to our payroll system.
    • Manage new hire and annual open benefits open
    • Partner with current HR team and provide support by establishing a standard successful onboarding program for all new hires.
    • Traveling to Fort Worth during the transition period as you develop processes and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field.
    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in manufacturing
    • Experience with ADP Workforce preferred
    • Experience with workplace safety, compliance with environmental regulations
    • Experience hiring in manufacturing using different sourcing tools including hiring events
    • Demonstrate knowlege of all Microsoft products, excel, word, outlook and power point.
    • Strong facilitation, influencing and conflict resolution skills
    • High sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure

    • Familiar with DOL, EEOC, Title VII, FLSA, FMLA and OSHA
    • understanding of workers comp and work accommodations

    • Ability to drive HR initiatives and deliver high quality HR services.
    • Resourceful and an ability to research for best outcome.
