    AFC Urgent Care San Diego is seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator, under the direction of the COO will support six area locations for employee processing, recruiting, training, staff scheduling and records maintenance/reporting. The primary responsibilities of the HR Coordinator are to enforce employee policies, procedures and best practices while serving as the liaison between the employees and the management team.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local labor laws, regulations and wage orders.

    Set recruiting goals, attract quality employees, screen applicants, schedule interviews and manage attrition.

    Consult with contracted HR company and assist managers on matters regarding employee grievances, internal investigations, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and terminations.

    Ensure employee grievances are investigated, addressed and documented.

    Coordinate with Director of Finance on Benefits Administration and time off requests.

    Work with contracted HR company to periodically update Employee Handbook.

    Conduct annual salary and benefits surveys to ensure the company is in line with the local job market.

    Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process.

    Perform record keeping functions for storing, tracking and reporting employee data.

    Provide support for the credentialing department.

    Monitor meal break reporting process.

    Assist with Supervisor with employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

    Draft professional correspondence, job ads, announcements, reports and inquiries.

    Manage special projects and assigned duties as required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field of study and/or a combination of education and experience.

    1-3 years of human resource management experience.

    Working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local labor laws, regulations and wage orders.

    SHRM-CP desired but not required.
