HR Coordinator
Position Summary:
As a member of the Human Capital Management (HCM) team, the HR Coordinator will have the opportunity to enhance and improve the way MCPC shapes its culture in multiple areas. The selected individual will be part of a group effort to provide the highest level of internal service possible across multiple site locations.
This position resolves benefits-related problems as part of the group, ensures the effective use of plans and fosters positive employee relationships.
The HR Coordinator makes certain that tasks are administered in accordance with federal and state policies. This role also provides administrative support to the various disciplines of the full HR function as needed.
This includes record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry and more. This person would need to be able to function successfully as an individual contributor and at times as an agile team member.
The ideal candidate should be coachable, proactive, and display promise as a strategic thinker.
Responsibilities:
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, maintains I-9 files and submits E-Verify.
• Assists with processing of terminations.
• Assists with the preparation of the performance review process and conducting investigations.
• Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Leader of the HCM group.
• Files documents into appropriate employee files in partnership with the immediate HR and HCM teams.
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
• Prepares new employee files.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Providing high-level customer service and understanding to all-levels of the organization.
• All daily work must be completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner and honoring confidentiality.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with handling multiple tasks.
• At least two (2) years of HR experience.
• Demonstrated organization, time-management, attention to detail and communication skills
• Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications:
• SHRM-CP or PHR Credential preferred (not-required).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite: including Teams, Outlook, etc.
• Three (3) or more years of HR experience with exposure to critical thinking + project oversight.
Physical Requirements: • Lifting requirements – Ability to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times.
• Ability to travel and be punctual to local office locations, as needed, as part of a decentralized HR group.
