    What it means to be our Human Resources Coordinator:

    The HR Coordinator will support the HR department in various functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The role will require a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills to manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure a smooth and efficient HR process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Required Skills:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

    · 1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.

    · Familiarity with HR software and systems, including applicant tracking systems and HRIS.

    · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

    · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    · Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

    · Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.

    Job Description (This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions):

    · Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews

    · Conduct new employee onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions

    · Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems

    · Support benefits administration processes, including enrollment, changes, and terminations

    · Assist with talent management initiatives, such as performance management and employee development programs

    · Coordinate affirmative action planning activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

    · Assist with change management efforts related to HR policies, procedures, and initiatives

    · Provide administrative support for various HR projects, including data entry, report generation, and document preparation

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives and projects

    · Provide all employees prompt and efficient attention for all Human Resources inquiries. Thoroughly answers all employee inquiries and responds to all requests while employing an exceptional customer service demeanor.

    · Track and follow-up on Disciplinary Action forms submitted by Operations Management.

    · Responds to all Verification of Employment Requests. Reviews and completes all EDD claims forms and Benefit Audits and State Disabilities Insurance Benefits claims. Assists with all phone calls from EDD/CA-SDI representatives regarding any employee and State Disability questions.

    · Issue Statement research for Holiday Pay Complaints, Funeral Leave Pay Complaints, Jury Duty Pay Complaints.

    · Responds to all employee inquiries related to Attendance Point balances.

    · Ensure compliance with personnel files.

    · Assist with employee engagement and employee recognition activities.

    · Other duties as assigned.
