    Corporate Human Resource Director

    Location: Houston, TX Preferred (other locations / remote may also be considered)

    Salary: $110 – 130K Plus Performance Bonus

     

    Hiring Company: the hiring company is a US-based provider of infrastructure integrity services. They primarily serve the oil & gas, electric power and forestry industries. They operate throughout the US and Canada.

    The Role: The Human Resources (HR) Director plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the HR function of the overall organization. They are responsible for ensuring that each of the five (5) operating companies is compliant with all government (federal, state, provincial, and local) employer regulations and requirements. They are also responsible for creating and maintaining HR policies across the organization.

    Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role:

    Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
    2. Policy Development: Create and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
    3. Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development programs.
    4. Employee Relations: Address employee grievances, mediate disputes, and promote a positive work environment.
    5. Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage compensation structures and benefits programs.
    6. Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations.
    7. HR Metrics: Analyze HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
    8. Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department’s budget.
    9. Leadership: Supervise and mentor HR staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

    Qualifications:

    Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

    Experience: Extensive experience in HR, 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role preferred.

    Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in HR software and data analysis.

    Certifications: Professional HR certifications, such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR, preferred
