  • Responsibilities

    The HR Director will report to the General Manager and work closely with the executive and senior leadership team to execute HR initiatives company-wide. Responsibilities: • Develop and drive organizational effectiveness by providing support to the General Manager on people-focused initiatives. • Oversee administration of HR programs, including, but not limited to, performance and talent management, compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. • Manage the talent acquisition process, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring. • Collaborate with recruiters and departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. • Create learning and development programs/initiatives that provide internal development opportunities. • Facilitate and provide guidance to management teams in HR matters, direct staff on HR functions, develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures according to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies, talent management, and employment law. • Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Skilled at leading change initiatives. • Ability to manage people operations and workforce planning. • Analytical thinker and problem-solver. • Strong organization skills. • Detail-oriented. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources Development, Administration, or any related field is required. • At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in an HR management-related role, preferably in hospitality, is preferred. • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time. Compensation: $85,000 to start
