BendTec, LLC has an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resource Generalist to be an integral part of our team. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Administers various human resource plans and procedures for personnel; assists in the implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

• Conducts recruitment effort for exempt and non-exempt personnel; conducts new-employee orientations.

• Builds and maintains relationships with talent pipeline sources (e.g., local high schools, training colleges, etc.)

• Handles employee relations, counseling, and exit interviewing.

• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the department and services performed.

• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports.

• Review and submit weekly time records to submit to 3rd party processor.

• Maintains personnel records for both staff and union employees.

• Gain detailed understanding of union contracts for compliance and benefit submissions.

• Complies with federal, state, and local legal regulations by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

• Works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office; Various Reporting Systems
• Certifications & Licenses: None specifically required
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Possess the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
