Job Title: Human Resources Generalist
Compensation: $70k-85k

Role Summary: ● As a growing company, EDS is looking to add to our HR team. This position will be responsible for overseeing varying aspects of our HR operations. You will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a positive and compliant work environment, ensuring that our staff have the support they need while adhering to regulatory requirements as well as assisting in creating, implementing, and maintaining organizational improvement projects.
Core Responsibilities:
● Develop, maintain and improve documentation related to the HR function, including policy and procedures, employee handbooks, organizational charts, contracts, safety, etc. as published on employee databases or via other communication methods. ● Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other employee perks. ● Oversee and manage workers compensation claims and ensure the agency is compliant with all applicable liability and insurance policies. ● Provide insights based on HR data trends and make recommendations for process improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness. ● Collaborate with management to resolve employee conflicts, offering guidance and mediation. ● Ensure employee records are up to date and in compliance with state and federal regulations related to behavioral health and residential care. ● Serves as the designated expert on local, state and federal employment law. ● Support management in recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees to maintain high standards of care and professionalism. ● Possess strong Oregon compliance and payroll experience. ● Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: ● At least 18 years old (Required) ● Valid Oregon driver’s license (Preferred) ● Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check (Required) ● Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. ● Relevant certifications (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus. ● Must have comprehensive knowledge in using ADP Workforce Now, including setup and maintenance of payroll systems, employee document storage, performance review tracking and management, and other functionality to support organizational needs.
