    Job Summary:

    Deliver all aspects of HR services during an employee’s tenure, working collaboratively with HR Manager, leadership, management, and all employees. The current emphasis on this position is to be the lead in the talent acquisition process which includes identifying cutting edge recruiting methods, pipeline building, candidate selection, and support for hiring managers while providing friendly service and quality to internal and external customers. Implement process improvements as necessary. As the position evolves, further Human Resources areas of focus may be added and/or mentored into the position.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Partners with the HR Manager to understand and execute the organization’s talent management strategy including full cycle talent acquisition and retention strategies.

    · Actively seek opportunities to build relationships, partner, and demonstrate the value Human Resources adds to the company.

    · Serve as an ambassador to new hires on behalf of the company.

    · Partners and builds relationships with managers to strategize on workforce planning and develop role-specific recruitment strategies.

    · Proactively use sourcing techniques to identify top talent, leveraging multiple technologies, creative outlets, and networks to attract a diverse candidate pool.

    · Develop and build recruiting methods to ensure the company has the exposure, tools, and insight to conduct candidate screenings and identify the best candidates for each role.

    · Ensure hiring process reflects commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    · Conduct onboarding sessions for direct hires, temps, and converting associates.

    · Manage postings and applicant tracking platform for internal and external positions.

    · Develop, analyze, and report metrics used to drive success in the acquisition and retention of talent.

    · Collect qualitative retention data and report results.

    · Assist in scheduling benefits orientations including 401k informational sessions

    · Attend career fairs, college fairs, and or other applicable hiring events

    · Build collaborations with colleges and universities and other entities that may assist in talent acquisition.

    · Build relationships and manage contracts with talent/staffing agencies/recruiters.

    · Assist with FMLA, STD, LTD, worker’s comp cases, and LOAs.

    · Conduct special projects and other duties as directed by management and leadership.

    · Conduct phone screens and schedule interviews.

    · Lead, assist, or facilitate the implementation of HR projects, events, and programs as assigned.

    · Serve as Payroll processing backup

    · Submit weekly hours of temporary employees to agencies and verify accuracy.

    · Assist managers and supervisors with attendance tracking and corrective actions.

    Job Requirements:

    · Proactive in seeking information to perform job responsibilities successfully.

    · Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.

    · Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    · Computer and technology proficiency; preference to Microsoft Office skills.

    · Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent acquisition and retention, talent management DOL and employment law.

    · Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and when appropriate, delegate work.

    · Ability to work positively under the pressure of time constraints.

    · Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers/vendors.

    · The ability to stand, walk, and bend for periods of time.

    · The ability and willingness to drive to other plant locations.

    Mandatory Job Qualifications:

    o Previous Human Resources experience of 2+years preferred.

    o Human Resources certifications a Plus.

    o Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Business or Human Resources preferred.

    o Must be willing to travel to other company locations.

    o The ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and Integrity.

    o Highly Reliable

    o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    o An established ability to follow up and follow through.
