We’re in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized human resources generalist to lead the successful sourcing, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members. Candidates need to have a record of keenly vetting positive and engaged people, who fit both the organizational culture and technical roles being filled. Candidates must also have experience successfully building and implementing effective policies, systems, and procedures for people management aligned to state and federal laws. Familiarity with Topgrading techniques is helpful. Responsibilities: • Find qualified candidates, interview top talent, and onboard and train new employees • Hold exit interviews with employees and record their feedback to optimize our policies and procedures • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, and advise on improvements • Make sure internal documents, paperwork, reports, and records are accurate and up-to-date • Lead and execute effective talent acquisition and recruitment processes • Design employee onboarding; organize training development initiatives • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics, such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise • Maintain secure employee files/records in compliance with federal and state law • Ensure compliance with labor regulations • Assist in development, auditing, and implementation of human resource policies; ensure the employee handbook is acknowledged by all employees as updated • Administer, evaluate, and review compensation and benefit plans • Help develop and facilitate an effective quarterly performance management system built around KPIs and metric tracking • Guide leadership through employee performance interventions, from verbal warnings to termination, using progressive discipline when appropriate • Promote proactive programs that create an efficient, healthy, and conflict-free workplace Qualifications: • Hold a bachelor’s degree in HR management, business management, or a similar field • 3-5 years of experience as an HR manager, upper-level HR generalist or in a senior position in HR management • Possess an SHRM certification or certification from a similar institute • Demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
