    Human Resources Generalist

    Full Time $50-55K

    Job Description: Human Resources Generalist will play a strategic role in filling vacancies across the organization to support Soccer Shots operations on Long Island. In this role, you will support the organizations recruiting efforts, train, evaluate. You will be responsible for the recruiting and screening stage for coaches, interns, and full-time employees. We are looking for a motivated individual who can source talent locally, strategically and is passionate about our mission.

    Working Location:

    Must work from the established office during working hours, unless approved to be working on the “field”. Must meet at least once/weekly with supervisor. Position is required to stand, run, walk and communicate in an outdoor environment through duration of work assignment. NO REMOTE WORK

    Responsibilities:

    Oversees the daily workflow of the PT and FT coaches in their region, and provides support and guidance as it relates to recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations.

    Collaborates with the integrator on a consistent basis, to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and evaluation planning.

    Participates in the interview and hiring process of the qualified candidates and potential new hires and for promotions

    Ensures that the onboarding process meets the standards and compliance and is being handled in a timely and efficient manner.

    Oversees the process of performance reviews and works with the department managers to ensure completion in a timely manner

    Works with the department managers to assist and prepare for the process of discipline and terminations

    Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

    Ensures that the correct company templates and documents are used for all HR related processes. This includes but is not limited to interviews, references, employee status changes, disciplinary forms etc.

    Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, and sensitive questions and issues arise, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

    Ensures appropriate documentation into the electronic employee files for accurate record keeping.

    Assists with the monitoring of compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.

    Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies, procedures, and the industry standard.

    Performs other related duties as assigned by Visionary, Integrator or relevant senior leadership.
