POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist with 3-5+ years of HR experience to join our team onsite in Nashville, TN. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this role will support a range of HR activities, including payroll administration, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. Ideal candidates will have experience with HR systems, consumer packaged goods (CPG) and/or startups.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Payroll Administration : Manage and process multi-state payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
- HR Systems Management : Utilize and maintain HR systems for record-keeping, reporting, and analytics, ensuring data integrity across all HR processes.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support end-to-end recruiting, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new hires.
- Employee Relations : Serve as a resource for employee inquiries, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Performance Management : Assist in the performance review process and support managers in employee development.
- HR Operations: Ability to audit, evaluate and make recommendations on new HR systems, tools, and software for efficiency.
- HR Compliance : Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations and ensure up-to-date inclusive work culture.
- Benefits Administration : Assist with benefits enrollment and administration, responding to employee questions.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training programs and support professional development initiatives.
- Policy Implementation : Help create and enforce HR policies that align with company goals and legal requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years in HR, preferably within CPG or startup environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Payroll administration experience.
- Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, payroll, and ATS) for data management and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and high confidentiality standards.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and stay flexible to changing needs and priorities.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, payroll systems, and HR software tools.
