Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes within National Safety & Health. This role is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and overall HR strategy to support our integrated Safety, Environmental, and Healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Partner with department managers to assess staffing needs and workforce planning.
Act as the primary contact for employee concerns, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
Maintain and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
Oversee employee evaluations, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
Develop and coordinate training programs, leadership development, and career growth opportunities.
Support a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Administer payroll, benefits programs, and leave policies.
Research and recommend competitive compensation structures.
Manage open enrollment and employee benefits communications.
Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with company goals.
Analyze HR metrics to track workforce trends and recommend process improvements.
Foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
5+ years of HR management experience in a corporate or business environment.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with HR software, payroll systems, and reporting tools.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
