    Human Resources Intern

    The HR Intern is responsible for assisting the recruiting team in achieving overall sales goals by sourcing and qualifying top talent for job orders. The HR Intern will be exposed to the full-cycle recruiting process for multiple job openings across various industries. This role reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

    Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

    • Effectively identify and qualify candidates from multiple resources, to fill temporary, contractual temp to direct hire and direct hire positions.
    • Engage in sourcing activities to include, but not limited to: market research, identifying candidate sources, recruiting calls and attending networking events.
    • Support the team to build a candidate pipeline by sourcing passive and active candidates for immediate and future hiring needs.
    • Post job openings on multiple resources and proactively maintain and refresh postings.
    • Qualify candidates by conducting phone and in-person interviews, assessments, references and background checks.
    • Support team with candidates' reference checks, background checks as well as follow up quality call once a candidate begins working on a contract.
    • Support efforts to develop and implement a university recruiting program by building relationships with career centers and scheduling on-campus interviews with students and alumni to support recruitment efforts.
    • Enter job orders, client candidate information and ongoing communication regarding clients and candidates into the UltraStaff database system.
    • Complete various special projects as needed.

    Key Qualifications

    • Working toward or has a Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
    • Previous work experience working on a team.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure in a results driven environment and meet goals, while continuously providing exceptional service to candidates and clients.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and directly with clients, candidates and staff both verbally and in writing.
    • Must have strong initiative, analytical skills and the ability to develop creative solutions.
    • Ability to evaluate and read people to effectively place them in the right positions.
    • Outstanding organization skills and follow through to successfully manage and complete multiple priorities/projects on daily basis.
    • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships by building creditability and trust.
    • Technical savvy to find qualified candidates through research techniques including, social media, internet sourcing and staffing tools.
    • Driven towards results and success while demonstrating a strong commitment to a team environment.
