If so, the Human Resource Manager position with SERVPRO of Upper Bucks, NW Hunterdon County and SERVPRO of Columbia, Montour and Sullivan County might be right for you!
The Human Resources Manager will oversee compliance, employee relations, benefits administration to ensure employees and leadership are supported in both day to day operations and longer term career planning. Our culture is centered around teamwork, accountability, hard work, honesty and compassion!
This is a full time position based in our Perkasie office, Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30 pm. In this role, you will support all employees and the leadership team. Currently we are 35 employees strong and looking to grow. If you are looking for a fast paced environment with exposure to all aspects of HR, this job is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and compliant employment records (e.g., W-4, I-9, Direct Deposit, etc.), ensuring adherence to legal standards and company policies.
Manage and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment and providing guidance on workplace conduct, policies, and procedures.
Oversee the recruitment process, including posting job openings, attending career fairs, interviewing candidates, and managing onboarding. Provide support in new hire training and continuous employee development.
Coordinate employee performance reviews, including 30-60-90 day check-ins and annual evaluations, and assist with setting goals for continuous improvement and growth.
Ensure payroll accuracy, including timesheet management, direct deposits, wage garnishments, and vendor invoicing, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
Oversee workplace safety, handling incidents and ensuring safety protocols and regulatory requirements are met. Actively oversee the company’s safety committee.
Develop, maintain, and ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, including the employee handbook, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
Manage fleet vehicle maintenance, including inspections, registrations, and compliance with safety regulations.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
At least 5 years of overall business experience as an HR Generalist .
Experience leading effective performance management systems and practices .
Demonstrated strength in effective recruitment, communication, and collaboration .
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment .
Ability to maintain professional composure in difficult situations.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and leadership team.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to learn new software.
Ability to work around cleaning agents and tools.
