    Job Description

    The Human Resources Manager, Senior HR Business Partner, is part of a Human Resources team that provides day-to-day functional expertise, support and direction to the Roseville manufacturing operation. The HR Manager is responsible for driving human resources programs and initiatives within the plant. This role is critical in fostering a positive work environment and crafting exceptional employee experience while maintaining a strong focus on business goals. The incumbent is expected to prepare, in a succession planning scenario, for taking over bigger responsibilities in a mutually agreed timeframe.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with the HR director and site leaders to drive and implement strategies and programs that meet business needs. Translate company strategic and tactical business plans into human resource plans & roadmaps. Support managers to use proper leadership instruments, cultivate proper leadership culture and attitude, and be a role model for positively leading change.

    • Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to further streamline processes and enhance talent experience in the process. Further develop talent pipeline strategy and programs. Establish relationships with universities and schools that allow an adequate flow of talent.

    • Manage Talent Identification and Development Process. Define talent development/retention measures together with line managers through systematic analysis. Introduce/stabilize global Bosch processes for performance appraisal, associate development, succession planning according to organizational and talent needs. Support development of talents and leaders via the right training and development programs and proactive succession planning.

    • Support compensation processes with job evaluations and by supporting the ASR and bonus programs.

    • Support digitalization efforts, process optimization and enabling automation of HR processes as needed to foster efficiency and further support data-driven decision making and reporting.

    • Participate in developing HR department goals, objectives, and systems.

    • Lead special and cross-functional project teams.

    • Administers various human resources procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; assists site management team with fair and consistent application of human resources policies and procedures.

    • Assist with driving special projects to completion and other relevant tasks as assigned.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BS Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resources Management is highly preferred. A master’s degree in management or HR and/or SPHR certification is preferred. The position requires 7 years of progressively responsible work experience, preferably in similar roles in production facilities. Demonstrated knowledge of state (CA), federal and local laws/regulations including FMLA/CFRA/PDL, PFL, ADA, FLSA, and EEO.
    • Strong understanding of business operations with the ability to link HR decisions directly to business outcomes and financial performance. Ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions. Ability to use good judgment in evaluating scenarios, potential solutions, and consequences.
    • Proven experience in working with senior leadership to influence decisions and drive impactful HR initiatives.
    • A quick thinker who can handle ambiguity and resolve complex issues with a solution-oriented mindset. Proactively drive new topics and think “out-of-the-box” to achieve great results.     Preferred Qualifications

    • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

    • This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
    • This position works Monday- Friday, overtime and on call when necessary.

    The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $150,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
