    Job Description

    We are currently searching for an experienced Human Resources Operations Manager to work hybrid (3 days on-site) at our Carson headquarters in SoCal. You will be part of a wonderful HR team that supports the 4,000+individuals who make up our Office, Retail, Distribution and Sales divisions.     A day in the office looks like this:

    • Act as subject matter expert in HR policies, practices and laws: primarily wage and hour, labor law postings, paid leave and federal/state/local employment laws and regulations
    • Overseeing the preparation and submission of required government reports, including EEO-1, VETS-4212, AAP, and other relevant filings
    • Manage team executing on all pre-employment and onboarding processes: ensure all paperwork and processes are up-to-date and compliant, monitor that all onboarding paperwork is processed in a timely manner
    • Supervise the administration of background checks and employment verifications, reporting /responding to any issues
    • Identify, recommend and implement operational improvements to streamline HR processes, policies and procedures, including employee handbook and policy management
    • Manage employment and off-boarding processes performed by direct reports: process all exits including generating all paperwork and processing terminations
    • Oversee team administering all compliance-related trainings such as prevention of harassment; oversee rollout across multiple employee types (retail, warehouse, office, remote)
    • Manage employment authorization (I-9 and E-Verify) processes, including regular audits and ensuring compliance with USCIS regulations
    • Partner with appropriate parties to report and correct any compliance concerns in a timely fashion
    • Lead team managing employee files (electronic and hard copy) to answer inquiries and provide information back to internal partners
    • Ensure compliance with all labor law postings at all locations
    • Manage company-wide employee incentive programs
    • Manage team who contribute to ensuring effective and positive employee/ HR experience, providing guidance and coaching to foster a culture of collaboration, customer service and continuous improvement

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources with at least 2+ years leading others
    • Experience in a multistate environment and operating under applicable federal/state/local employment laws and regulations
    • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple
    • Knowledge of all relevant federal and state regulations

    At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

    For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore who live within Los Angeles and Orange Counties are typically brought into the organization at a salary between $70,500-$100,000 depending on relevant experience & skillset.

    This range is indicative of projected hiring range. The annual base compensation will take into account each candidate's relevant experience, location, and skillset.
