Detach Reset Solar LLC, a specialized solar maintenance company focusing on the detachment and reinstallation of solar panels, is currently seeking a skilled Human Resources/Payroll Manager to join their team. As a company, we play a crucial role in performing a variety of operations and maintenance tasks at large utility scale solar photovoltaic sites. Our scope of work includes preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment monitoring, and on-site operation of various photovoltaic system components such as inverters, trackers, weather monitoring equipment, SCADA systems, and more.
We are seeking a motivated and leadership-focused Human Resources/Payroll Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, combining excellent interpersonal skills with a results-driven approach to compliance. As a Human Resources/Payroll Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving company growth through effective communication, relationship building, and a deep understanding of our company philosophies.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Developing recruitment strategies to ensure job openings are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Posting job advertisements on job boards, social media, and other platforms.
Screening resumes and applications for suitability.
Conducting interviews to assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience.
Liaising with hiring managers to understand job requirements and competencies needed.
Negotiating job offers and finalizing employment details.
Maintaining records of all recruitment activities.
The HR Recruiter is the first point of contact for potential employees, making it important for them to represent the company’s values and culture. They play a vital role in shaping the team that drives the company’s success.
Additional Responsibilities For Human Resources:
Budget Management:
Developing and managing the recruiting budget.
Ensuring cost-effectiveness of recruiting activities.
Team Leadership:
Building and leading a high-performing Human Resources team.
Providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Company Insurance Benefits Management:
Ensure employees are properly informed about the Medical & Dental/Vision insurance plans offered through company.
Process necessary paperwork for new employees eligible for benefits (90 days of consistent employment).
Working alongside insurance carrier in processing policy changes and addressing employee concerns.
Adding the correct deductions to employees' paychecks in ADP for insurance premiums.
Monitoring insurance premium autopays from company.
Payroll Responsibilities:
Process Payroll as scheduled in a timely, accurate manner.
Work with Payroll Specialist on calculating/tracking hours, pay, etc. for payroll purposes.
Make pay adjustments as per discussion with management.
Secondary Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable: during times when you are not recruiting or have human resource tasks
Monitoring overdue accounts and identifying outstanding debts.
Planning effective strategies for debt recovery.
Contacting clients to inquire about their payment status.
Negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans.
Updating account status and database regularly.
Preparing and presenting reports on collection activities and progress.
Sending Demand Letters and complaints about unpaid invoices.
Processing Lien Paperwork for overdue accounts.
Work Schedule
Regular work days from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with flexibility for extended hours, varied shifts, weekend work, and holiday shifts as required
This is a full-time position for 8 hours a day.
COMPENSATION
In consideration of the performance of the duties as Human Resources/Payroll Manager the Employee shall start with an hourly rate of $25/hour.
The Employee's hourly pay shall be paid on a bi-weekly basis via direct deposit or as otherwise mutually agreed upon.
The Company reserves the right to review and adjust the Employee's salary periodically, based on performance evaluations and market standards.

The Employee shall be eligible for benefits provided by the Company, which may include, but are not limited to, health insurance, retirement plans, vacation leave, sick leave, and other applicable benefits.
Eligibility for benefits shall be considered after the completion of a probationary period of 90 days starting from the Employee's start date.
