The Human Resources Specialist handles the day-to-day functions relating to Human Resources as described below.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Managing company benefits, including healthcare, dental and life policies.
· Contact point for employees regarding benefits, payroll and human resources concerns.
· Processing payrolls and managing time clock data.
· Tracking employees’ absences, sick time, paid leave.
· Handling employee onboarding.
· Recruiting via employment agencies and on-line postings.
· Maintaining ISO training records and compliance reporting.
· Administering door security system for all personnel.
· Developing employee rewards and recognition programs.
· Assisting in special projects as assigned.
· Identifying opportunities for improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Positive and friendly demeanor with all employees.
Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
· Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or relevant certifications.
· Progressive experience in Human Resources.
· Competency with MS Office applications.
· Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
· High level of attention to detail.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
