ABOUT THIS POSITION:
As a Human Resources Specialist, you'll play a key role in managing and optimizing HR operations, recruitment, and employee experience. You'll be an essential part of the team, ensuring that our people processes run smoothly, new hires are set up for success, and our workplace culture remains strong and engaging.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Ensure all HR practices and policies are legally compliant with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Talent Acquisition and Ongoing Employee Management:
- Lead the recruitment and interview process, from sourcing candidates and conducting interviews to coordinating final hiring decisions and onboarding new hires.
- Compose and send out job offers to candidates.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires by coordinating training, access setup, and first-day introductions.
- Research compensation factors such as employees' location and skillset to ensure fair and competitive compensation
- HR Operations & Employee Support::
- Act as a resource for HR inquiries and ensure requests are handled in a timely manner.
- Manage HR documentation and compliance processes across hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Culture and Employee Well-being:
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture that reflects BAD Marketing's values.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to manage benefits such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.
- You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can adapt quickly to changes.
- You're detail-oriented and proactive in solving problems before they arise.
- You're comfortable using HR software, project management tools, and communication platforms (Rippling, ClickUp, Slack, Google Drive, etc.).
- You genuinely care about company culture, employee engagement, and supporting teams in doing their best work!
