We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist to join the iuvo team!
SUMMARY
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for executing human resources activities in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, training, compliance, employment policies and programs, employee engagement, HRIS, compensation, and benefits. This role reports to the CEO and provides administrative support for a variety of other office activities beyond HR.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 to 4 years in an HR administration support role.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficiency utilizing HRIS and talent management systems is strongly preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Writing skills should include the ability to write effective emails with excellent proofreading and grammar, punctuation, etc. Must have well-developed interpersonal communication skills. Able to customize communication style and approach depending on audience to develop effective working relationships. Must exhibit a high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic calculations used in preparing payroll, compensation, benefit premiums, offers of employment, etc
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to take a proactive approach to work activities. Must possess excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively across all levels within the organization. Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.
