    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly competent and meticulously organized Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC. As an integral member of our HR department, you will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that are essential to the efficient operation of our organization's human resources processes.

    • Diligently maintain and update the universal roster on a weekly basis
    • Manage the MedTrainer database with utmost precision, including maintaining accurate active and inactive provider lists, and ensuring all credentials remain current
    • Meticulously update Human Resource spreadsheets to ensure strict compliance with state and federal regulations
    • Conduct daily updates of Amerihealth, DC Medicaid, and NPI provider profiles to maintain absolute accuracy
    • Oversee and maintain employee records in the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other stakeholder databases with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy
    • Facilitate the critical onboarding process for new hires and conduct comprehensive new employee orientations
    • Provide authoritative guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers
    • Collaborate closely with the Compliance Officer on the crucial tasks of credentialing providers and other compliance-related matters
    • Work in tandem with the billing department to ensure prompt resolution of any claim denials
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives and programs
    • Rigorously ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
    • Engage in interdepartmental collaboration to address employee relations issues and maintain a positive work environment as necessary
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is mandatory.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years of substantial experience in Human Resources is required.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
    • Prior experience with Paycom, Credible, and MedTrainer is highly advantageous.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations is crucial.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are imperative.
    • Advanced problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail are non-negotiable.
    • Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion is required.
    • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated capacity to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
    • Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are critical.
