  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ** Summary of Position**

    Administers transactions, processes, and procedures for Silfab Solar, and supports and executes initiatives within a specified or designated human resource functional area while complying with applicable regulations, laws, and established policy.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist with performance management processes and procedures including monthly communication with management and records management.
    • Assists with benefits administration including liaison with vendors, annual benefits fair, employee enrollment and monthly invoice reconciliation.
    • Responsible for COBRA administration and termination letters.
    • Assist in developing company policy and procedure.
    • Handle internal and external inquires on HR-related matters.
    • Assist with maintaining department records and updating of the HRIS system.
    • Assist with developing and implementing comprehensive training and development programs to promote and maintain a skilled, engaged workforce.
    • Assume other duties as assigned by the HR Manager

    • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to influence and communicate policies and ideas to a varied group and individuals both verbally and in writing
    • Demonstrated project coordination skills

    • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.

    ** Education and/or Experience** ****

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 2+ years’ experience in human resources
    • Proficient in HRM or HRIS software.
    • Demonstrated knowledge in organizational development, employee relations, performance management, policy and procedure development and administration, classification/compensation, benefits, and legal compliance.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of regulations governing human resources functions and federal state legislation
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Previous benefits and payroll administration preferred.
    • Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification, equivalent, or exceeding HR certification preferred.
