Our Ideal Candidate:
- This position requires strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, decision-making, and discretion.
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or business, with coursework in business, psychology, writing, communication, or management is preferred.
- Successful experience may be substituted.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong written and verbal grammar and spelling skills,
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
- Bilingual Spanish/English desirable.

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Day to Day:
- Work with Human Resources Director and management staff to plan and manage recruitment and selection of staff.
- Organizes and maintains incoming job applications.
- Conduct professional reference checks on qualified candidates.
- Collect and track data on time-to-fill for positions and report to HR Director.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Develop and maintain contacts with academic and vocational programs for candidate referrals.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation
- Perform new employee, long term volunteers, and independent contractors HR Orientations.
- Manage and protect personnel records, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Assist with filing of accounting and personnel records.
- Maintains required records, reports, and files.
- Participation in staff meetings as directed.
- Perform related work and other tasks as requested
