JOB DESCRIPTION

Huntington Learning Center in Issaquah is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic tutors for college-bound high school students. Play a rewarding role in helping motivated high school students achieve their dreams!

We need tutors to help students with:

• SAT/ACT prep (English/Reading Sections)
• College Essay writing and editing
• Subject-specific and AP courses

Details:

• All one-on-one tutoring
• Supportive admin staff does all the scheduling and parent communication
• Focus on teaching students without the requirement for lesson plan creation, grading papers, or conferences
• Primarily after-school and weekend hours
• Convenience and safety of tutoring in a professional learning center instead of in-home
• Great environment for recent graduates, professionals, retirees, and graduate students
• Paid training - initial and ongoing

Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent communication skills in 1-1 settings.
• Available to work at least 2-3 days per week, preferably including Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Must be local – within commuting distance to Issaquah, WA (out of state candidates need not apply).
• Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 per Governor's Mandate
