  • Responsibilities

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented, experienced, and licensed HVAC installation technician to join our company. You'll be responsible for visiting homes and businesses, assessing blueprints, codes, and manuals to install a variety of HVAC equipment. You’ll also be asked to install heating, cooling, indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to install, troubleshoot, and diagnose all equipment, and is an effective problem solver and communicator. MUST BE COACHABLE. Responsibilities: • Record HVAC equipment installs into database • Inspect all pipes, tubing joints, and connections for leaks • Attach pipes or tubing from the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to HVAC equipment • Advise clients on how to properly maintain their new equipment • Install a variety of heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems • Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems from changeouts to new cut-ins. • Install flex or metal ductwork. • Design, draw, and place orders for custom sheet metal materials. • Lead other installers or helpers in an installation job. • Train junior installers. Qualifications: • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections • Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent • Must be comfortable working in small crawl spaces and attics • EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification required • Attended HVAC school for degree and 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer • 4 Years Experience as an Installer Experience: • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, specifically within residential and light commercial sectors. • Proficient in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, including ductwork and refrigeration systems. Certifications: • Valid HVAC certification or license as required by local and state regulations. • Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA Section 608, NATE) are a plus. Technical Skills: • Strong understanding of HVAC systems’ components and functionality. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. • Proficient in using tools and equipment required for HVAC installation and maintenance. Work Ethic: • Must maintain a drug-free workplace status and pass drug screening. • Dependable with a strong commitment to completing jobs safely and effectively. Leadership & Communication: • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train or mentor junior staff. • Open to learning and applying company-specific installation processes and techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
