    Job Description Assist in the property management of a 111 unit apartment complex for residents 55 years and older. We are searching for an innovative, forward thinking, diligent, multi-tasking, assertive, problem-solving, loyal and friendly individual to join our staff. We hope you will be able to maintain our standard of excellence for customer service relations with our residents, visitors, prospective applicants, vendors and any other guests of our community. The ideal assistant property manager is someone interested in who wants to grow and develop skills in entrepreneurship and real estate business. Responsibilities -Participate in follow up with prospective in applicants -Providing tour of the property to prospective applicant, providing rental applications and answering prospectives' questions pertaining to rental application, assisting with obtaining all documents required with rental application, and assisting property manager to make decision on applicants for lease up -Obtain knowledge from property manager in recording and acting on residents' maintenance and non-maintenance requests, ensuring excellent customer service with same day or within 24 hours response to residents' inquiries whether by phone or in person -Maintain accurate records of all property problems and all reported by tenants in our property management software, Buildium (ex. repairs, leaks, move-ins/move-outs, tenant-to-tenant issues, tenant observations of any issues regarding building) -Provide constant communications to property manager who may be off-site through Buildium, logging info into daily report, by email/phone/requested method of communication by property manager -Ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate, scanned in and uploaded to appropriate cloud-base storage of Dropbox, Buildium and/or Google Drive -Understanding the demographics of the residents in building, listening and working to make sure all their needs are met -Assist in bookkeeping and any other tasks requested by property manager -Other work tasks that may be requested by property manager to do during work hours that may or may not be related to the property Minimum requirement(s) 1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel (must be able to prepare memorandums and correspondences) 2. Proficiency in use of Google Drive and Dropbox 3. Must have at least 2 years of professional work experience 4. Good interpersonal communication and above average emotional intelligence 5. GED required 6. Available for work hours 9am-5pm or schedule can be a bit modified from this schedule - Must be on time to work. 1/2 hour lunch unpaid. Potential candidate may be hired for a probationary period of work for a 3 months trial. If it is not a good fit, the candidate will be let go anytime during that period.
