    CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES

    Board Certified Behavior Analyst

    Must be maintained and remain active.

    Virginia Board of Medicine State Licensure

    Must be maintained and remain active.

    MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

    Behavior Life Skills (BLS) Certification

    Must be maintained and remain active.

    Tuberculosis Test/Screening

    All U.S. health care personnel should be screened for TB upon hire (i.e., preplacement). TB screening is a process that includes:

    A baseline individual TB risk assessment

    TB symptom evaluation

    A TB test (e.g., TB blood test or a TB skin test)

    Additional evaluation for TB disease as needed.

    Professional Liability Insurance

    To the Moon ABA PLLC will provide professional liability coverage to the employee with $1 million per-occurrence limit and a $2 million aggregate limit.

    EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Full-time employee expectations:

    Maintain a weekly minimum of 30 billable hours per week to be considered full-time. Billable hours can include supervision, parent trainings, care coordination, and initial assessments.

    This offer/contract may be renegotiated in the event that the employee is unable to meet the minimum billable requirement for 3 or more months.

    Clinical supervisors are expected to:

    Create and develop a client’s individualized Treatment Plan goals and objectives.

    Conduct skills assessments including ABLLS-R, ABAS, VB-MAPP, Vineland, PEAK or AFLS assessment.

    Conduct functional behavior analyses of problem behaviors to develop individualized behavior intervention plans.

    Conduct initial and 6-month assessments and recommend treatment hours based on medical necessity.

    Provide oversight to Behavior Technicians, including monitoring the implementation of programming and behavior plans.

    Conduct a pre-case open meeting with each Behavior Technician to discuss case details and/or review the client's individualized treatment plan before services begin.

    Conduct ongoing, weekly clinical supervision with the behavior technician and client.

    During the initial 4 weeks of beginning a new case or transferring onto a new case, the clinical supervisor must conduct supervisions face-to-face in order to observe target behaviors, collect baseline data, and effectively provide support to the client/BT.

    Supervisors must use their best clinical judgment to decide how often they will provide in-person support after the initial month of service. While telehealth supervision may be an option for some cases, supervisors must be present face-to-face minimum once per month.

    Schedule 1:1 meetings with the behavior technician on an as needed basis to discuss concerns, review updates/changes, discuss data collection, provide corrective feedback, or complete competency assessments.

    Oversee collection of behavioral and program data collected during sessions and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of the Treatment Plan.

    Conduct and report a quarterly treatment analysis and assess treatment progress and effectiveness.

    Conduct a minimum of bi-weekly parent meetings to review treatment summary and provide focused 1:1 hands on training on behavioral strategies and principles.

    Ensure parent involvement in treatment planning and goal setting.

    Identify and prepare local resources and family training needs.

    Develop and submit monthly summaries, referrals, and discharge reports.

    Collaborate with other service providers to ensure continuity of care.

    Review and approve BT/RBT session notes and provide feedback based on clinical judgment.

    Attend and conduct ongoing staff trainings.

    Oversee individuals accruing fieldwork hours to become certified (e.g., RBTs and BCaBAs).

    A written contract including the Clinical Director of To the Moon ABA PLLC must be in place prior to providing supervision towards fieldwork hours.
